Billed as Movement 98 featuring Carroll Thompson. Movement 98 comprised Rob Davis, Paul Oakenfold and Steve Osborne. Produced by Movement 98, vocals by Carroll Thompson, written by Thompson, Oakenfold & Davis with the classical theme purloined from Les Trois Gymnopedie from The Gymnopédies by Eric Satie written in the very late 1800's.
The Raid Mix was engineered by Steve Osborne and mixed By Paul Oakenfold & Steve Osborne while the superior Mellow Mix and it's Instrumental was engineered Jeremy Allom and remixed courtesy of Smith & Mighty for 3 Stripe productions. Unfortunately, I do not have the future remixes (sorry Zenn) but would love to get hold of them.

ReplyDeleteCould never decide which was better - 'Joy And Heartbreak' or 'Sunrise'.... these days I'm pretty sure it's J&H.
Smith & Mighty rock the remix!
Nice addition to this brilliant blog.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
ReplyDeleteI do prefer the Future Remix. Tougher Barry White style beats.. Still, a real classic in its own right. Nice post.
ReplyDeletei remember this fantastic title played by Dimitri (from Paris), on his saturday night show on French radio in early 90's. Excellent use of Erik Satie classic tune with the sweet voice of Carroll Thompson
